 Below you will find one of my most favorite pieces of art entitled Zodiac, a print created by Alphonse Mucha.  I even have a canvas hanging up in my apartment, nearly 6′ tall, startling everyone who enters.  The colors, the perfect profile of a pale female, her ochre hair, the sensual curves, softened palette, the astrological elements.

 Tritely put, the Art Nouveau movement is by far my favorite…and trust me, I’ve studied quite a few.  No other movement before and after, possessed such eclectic, organic, sensual attempts at modernizing art and design.  A subtle tinge of rebellion lies in its composition, which I absolutely adore.

I’ve included three of my favorite artists, whom I feel encompass Art Nouveau in its entirety and beauty.
